RICS Home Survey (Homebuyer Survey)
At Brooklyn Surveyors, we offer expert RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) Home Surveys and RICS Valuations to provide you with peace of mind when making property decisions.
Our RICS Home Survey (formerly known as the Homebuyer Survey) service is designed to give you a detailed and thorough assessment of the condition of a property, helping you to identify any potential issues or defects before you commit to buying or selling. We tailor our services to suit your needs and the property type, ensuring you have all the information necessary to make informed decisions.
(RICS Level 2 Home Survey only) or (RICS Level 2 Home Survey with Valuation)
You have the option for the report to come with or without a valuation. The report uses the traffic light colour coding system to rate individual elements of the property and highlight areas of concern, such as damp or structural movement. The level of detail enables you to judge the value of purchase in line with the cost of any future maintenance, repair and restoration works. Photos are included within the report to help highlight defects and the accommodation.
The RICS Homebuyer Service includes:
-
an inspection of the property
-
a report based on the inspection
-
Photos within the report
-
a valuation, which is part of the report - (RICS Level 2 Home Survey with Valuation)
The surveyor who provides the Home Survey will give you professional advice to help you to:
• make an informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying the property;
• make an informed decision on what is a reasonable price to pay for the property;
• take account of any repairs or replacements the property needs;
• consider what further advice you should take before committing to purchase the property.
Please contact us if you require a quote or further information on the surveys we offer.
