With years of experience and a deep understanding of the local property market, we specialise in a wide range of surveying services, including RICS home surveys (formerly homebuyer survey), RICS property valuations, Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), retrofit energy advise and more.
As a fully qualified team of surveyors, we pride ourselves on delivering accurate, reliable, and impartial advice to our clients. Whether you're buying your first home or seeking expert guidance on property matters, we offer tailored solutions to meet your specific needs. We combine the latest technology with traditional surveying expertise to ensure the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Being a local firm, we have an intimate knowledge of the area's properties, regulations, and market trends, giving us a unique advantage in delivering the most relevant and up-to-date advice. Our mission is to make the surveying process as clear and straightforward as possible, ensuring you have the confidence and information needed to make the best decisions for your property.
Brooklyn Surveyors provide a range of surveying services:
RICS Home Survey Report:
(RICS Level 2 Home Survey only) or (RICS Level 2 Home Survey with Valuation)
You have the option for the report to come with or without a valuation. The report uses the traffic light colour coding system to rate individual elements of the property and highlight areas of concern, such as damp or structural movement. The level of detail enables you to judge the value of purchase in line with the cost of any future maintenance, repair and restoration works.
Help to Buy valuations
You will need a market valuation for Help to Buy purposes from a RICS registered surveyor if you are selling your house, remortgaging or repaying your Help to Buy loan.
Shared ownership valuations
If you are increasing your share as part of a shared ownership scheme, you will require a shared ownership valuation to be undertaken by a RICS Registered Valuer. This valuation will exclude any improvement works carried out by the share owner. Alternatively, you will need a valuation if you decide to sell your property. This valuation will include any improvements that have been made.
Right to Buy valuations
If you are buying your social housing property, you may wish to obtain your own valuation of the property – independent of your landlord.
Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)
We have experienced Qualified Accredited Energy Assessors and aim to provide a fast and professional service to Landlords, Letting Agents, home owners, and others requiring an EPC.
Floor Plans
We can provide a range of floor plans for a variety of properties.
